In this photo series I explore a language of landscape, incorporating elements of the sacred and the profane. I engage the theme of the power of nature in this body of work. Street graffiti radiates from within the compositions. Angelic beings dance in a world that lies between darkness and light. Primordial beings, butterflies and moths hang in the sky, artifacts of a divine creation. I photographed the source material for these digital photographic works during a stay in Austria. These various subjects layered and interwoven relate the substance of my dreamlife and my spiritual aspirations. It is a desire to get lost in the maze of a sublime beauty found where the patterns of nature, the spark of the spirit, and the gesture of the handwritten word merge.
